Muscatine County encompasses approximately 449 square miles and is home to about 43,235 residents (2020 Census), making it Iowa’s 14 most populated county. The County’s annual operating budget for the current fiscal year is around $60 million. Oversite includes 13 departments with appointed department heads and 6 elected offices. Oversee 13 County departments, with approximately 193 regular employees in 86 different positions. 26 employees are elected officials and their deputies. 100 employees are covered under 4 separate unions. Oversee Union negotiation for our Sheriff deputies, jailers, Administration, and secondary Road employees. Serving on several County boards: Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, CEO, for Mississippi Valley Workforce Development, MVFWD finance committee, Muscatine County Flood Control Commission, Muscatine Solid Waste Mgmt. Agency, M.A.G.I.C. Board, Bi-State Regional Trails Committee, Muscatine Housing Council.

 Find, build, and maintain customer accounts with industrial contracting companies nationwide.  Over the last 6 years I have secured several customer accounts which contributed over 15 million in revenue sales, contributing to 35% of the company’s overall sales. Oversee all human resource decisions including interviewing potential employees’ I oversee employee hiring, and removal status within our company. Oversee and finalize contract negotiations with customers. Oversee payroll, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, safety requirements.

 Led several successful Enogen (Alpha Amylase Enzyme) trials with dry mill ethanol plants across the country. These trials led to millions of dollars of increased revenue for these Ethanol plants, and Syngenta. Worked directly with engineering for grain delivery infrastructure. Persuade decision makers at plants that manufacture ethanol on the benefits of enzyme technology, including their plant operators, management, and corporate board members. Overseen and performed all field and plant operations for Corn Seed Production.

 Led a team of personnel responsible for the packaging, loading and delivery of Maltodextrin food grade products. Collaborated with area supervisors and personnel in the quality control and sales departments to ensure customers received a quality product within their requested timeline. Managed a production team and daily operations to ensure manufacturing processes were followed.  Operated the wet and dry end processes for Maltodextrin food grade production.
