Serves a student caseload with proactive and customized success coaching made possible by an early warning/advising system driven by predictive analytics that includes the targeted group. To support their success on college, he leads focus groups and helps to build services and programs for male mentorship. Helps to integrate efficient intrusive advising procedures to reach vulnerable students who would most benefit from extra help. Find and aggressively contact at-risk students to link them to programs for student assistance and deliberate intervention. Students are involved in educational planning exercises to assist in achieving their academic objectives. Gives students the skills they need to interact with teachers and student services efficiently and to establish stronger links to resources and support services like disability, career, and financial aid services. Attends the designated academic department meetings on a regular basis, participates in other departmental meetings as needed, and stays up to date on departmental policies and practices. Assigned additional responsibilities by the AVP of Student Services.
