Danny was responsible for the automation of the test scripts for the ARGO project, a Belgian career data management system to treat various input and output flows from different partners in the Belgian social security sector. This was done using Compuware TestPartner, to reduce the time of each test run. When he joined the ARGO project, some automation was already done, but Danny quickly realized that the automation was plagued by issues that slowed down the test runs. He proactively added coding to trace the real source of the issues could be found and corrected, and soon the automation did realize time-reductions per test run.Additionally Danny also performed the role of test analyst in which he communicated with key users to develop accurate and to-the-point test scripts. Even in cases where the specifications were of a technical nature Danny was called upon.

Danny was responsible for assuring and improving the software quality of the BankSys/ATOS E-Commerce platform.He created and executed test scripts for credit & debit e-commerce transactions, from front-end to back-end.To ensure perfect international credit transactions he played a lead role in the certification of the E-Commerce platform with the Visa and MasterCard networks. In this role he developed some very accurate pre-certification tests which displayed that the development was not complete and that the product would not get a successfull certification. Communicating effectively with the developers he succeeded in getting the E-Commerce solution certified.Extra Danny also developed an automatisation base, in HP QTP, to enable the in-house testers to automate the E-Commerce test scripts.

Danny was responsible for assuring the software quality of the user interface (TV menu, direct control using the TV remote, ...) for these high-end flat-screen televisions.Additionally he also tested if the TVs correctly adopted the standards such as teletext (EU), closed captioning (USA) and V-chip (parental control). For these last 2 standards he developed a program (using Delphi) to insert the necessary data into the broadcast signal.

Danny was responsible for supporting and expanding the existing CAD (macros), the 2D-3D "conversion" and pricing program. He quickly grew into a role of lead developer to update the 2D-3D "conversion" and pricing DOS programs to Windows programs.Additionally Danny was also responsible for: creation of a custom install-program, installation of the software at the customer’s site, telephone and online support with the customers to resolve problems, performing regular backups of all in-house systems.

Danny was responsible for the development of a multi-language catalogue program for spare parts. First developed in VB, soon updated to Delphi, the program allowed the users to quickly find the code for a spare part, find where in a machine a certain spare part is used, or even view an expanded image of the machine. In additional tasks Danny was also responsible for the conversion of data coming from a VAX to regular Windows character coding, and conversion of vector drawings to bitmap images.
