I collaborated with stakeholders in multiple geographic locations in defining and delivering preloaded applications and services. Stakeholders included Handset Product Managers, Handset Development Managers, Services Product Managers, Handset Engineers, QA, IT, Care, Product Marketing, 3rd Party Application Account Managers, and OEM Development Managers. I liaised with cross-functional teams for all applications and services to ensure exchange of knowledge and projects. Being the subject matter expert for each application and service, roadmap, and project schedule, I became the go-to-guy for each department and partner to answer questions related to prepaid consumer services and devices.• Enhanced customers’ user experience by negotiating fewer bloatware applications from device manufacturers. This addressed customer complaints of preloaded applications they are not interested in. • Served as single point of contact for cross-functional teams, application vendors, and device manufacturers as central knowledge base, bridging communication gaps, minimizing redundant projects, and troubleshooting issues.

Researched and developed services that converged Wi-Fi and Cellular networks.• Expanded product line by launching Helio Hybrid, Helio’s 1st and only cellular-Wi-Fi product and service that included a PC data modem card, Helio Hybrid Connector PC software, and Helio nationwide Wi-Fi Hot Spots, delivered within 4 months. My role included defining product requirements, training QA, Sales, and Care Call Centers the basics of Wi-Fi along with how the product works, project management, designing layout and user flow, field testing, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Post launch, gathered usage data through SQL queries to determine usage patterns of the customers.• Executed user trials on data handover and Voice Call Continuity (VCC) between Wi-Fi and cellular network through secure connection, providing product recommendations and demonstrating proof-of-concept. This involved setting up a VoIP server for voice calls, RADIUS server for authentication, IPSec server to secure connections, Wi-Fi access points and testing equipment to measure the call quality.
