Working on the Advanced Viewing Camera Technology team enhancing various existing projects as well as developing software for new projects. The work done will help develop self-driving technology for GM’s future vehicle releases.Automated Intrinsic Calibration (Robotics/ML)- Automated the intrinsic calibration process for analyzing camera performance.Integrated a gimbal robot alongside automated target detection machine learning to move a robot based on outputs from the machine learning model.Image Processing Web App (Full Stack Internal Tooling)- Enhanced an internal web app to help lab engineers evaluate cameras by running image processing algorithms.- Implemented robust error handling for backend algorithms. Web sockets connect error messages to the frontend.- Implemented image cropping, image filtering, and different file types while maintaining image quality.Automated Target Detection Optimization- Trained various machine learning models and implemented various corner detection algorithms (i.e. Harris corner detection) to detect target centers in an image used for camera calibration. - Optimized the combination of different algorithms and models to select the best performing center detection.

- Improved ML research workflows that train products for Meta’s Reality Labs. Worked on a team of 30 engineers using Python and Github on a large existing codebase.- Developed code for data collection in AR/VR products and a feature store for ML workflow. The project allowed research engineers to define features, discover features, train models and ship features in a model for customer use later.

- Developed a task management Android app from scratch alongside Facebook employees & managers. Tied this app together using various APIs. Created additional sample apps such as Instagram and Netflix clones.

- Developed various features and web pages for a growing clothing company (10 employees). Developed features such as a quick buy option, holiday sale page, and about us page, and loading optimizations to name a few.
