I am a consultant and was formerly the International senior partner of law firm, DAC Beachcroft LLP. I specialise in advising on disputes in the construction, civil and mechanical engineering sectors. Much of my work is international, involving arbitration and dispute resolution on major projects. I also have wide experience of a variety of insurance matters, advising on all aspects of professional indemnity, contractors all risks and public liability insurance.I became the senior partner of Davies Arnold Cooper in 2000. In 2011, following a merger, I became International Senior Partner of DAC Beachcroft. In that position concentrated on:- developing a focussed international strategy for the firm - developing our international practice, which includes offices in Madrid, Mexico City, Singapore, Dublin and most recently Chile.I became a consultant on 1 May 2013. I was included in The Lawyers 'Hot 100' list of the UK Legal Profession's high achievers. I am also listed in the Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession for construction as, "particularly skilled in this area and possesses 'an impressive knowledge of the field'." (Chambers 2008)I am Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in New Zealand, a Solicitor of England and Wales and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
