Danny is a record producer, recording engineer, guitarist, educator, and President and Chief Engineer of The Audio Truck Inc., a mobile recording studio with which he has recorded some of the biggest acts in the world for television, radio, and record. As a record producer, he has produced over fifty albums. Among these, one has been certified Quadruple Platinum, one Triple Platinum and one Platinum. The albums have garnered 4 JUNO Award wins out of seventeen JUNO nominations and six ECMA’s.Production credits include Great Big Sea, Spirit Of The West, Ian Tyson, Sylvia Tyson, Sophie Milman, Jane Bunnett, The Paperboys, Colin Linden, The Barra MacNeils, Suzie Vinnick, Quartette, The Good Brothers, and Victoria Williams. His production work has taken him as far afield as Shanghai, China and Havana, Cuba. In Television Danny is a two-time Gemini Award winner, and has been Music Producer, Audio Producer and/or Recording Engineer on many large scale shows including Canada's Walk Of Fame, The Gemini Awards, The Juno Awards, and Canada For Asia – the 2005 concert for Tsunami relief on CBC TV and World Wide Web Cast.He was awarded the 2007 Gemini Award for Best Sound in a Variety Program, and was nominated 4 years running in the same category.He was again nominated for the 2006 Gemini Award for best sound as music mixer for the 2005 Canadian Country Music Awards. He was also awarded the Gemini Award for Best Original Film Score - Documentary.From 2010 - 2020 Danny taught a Masterclass in Music Production, and Advanced Music Production in the School of Creative and Performing Arts at Humber College in Toronto (Bachelor of Music).In addition to all this, as a guitarist he has performed with some of the biggest names in the country, including Murray McLauchlan, Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Sylvia Tyson and The Great Speckled Bird, The Romaniacs and Mr. Boy and the Fabulous Colossals.
