I am currently studying my Bachelor of Emergency Management at Charles Sturt University to further enhance my knowledge and capabilities within my current position, which consists of:• Supervise and Coordinate all emergencies including Medical, Fire and Safety related incidents.• Advising on all project related Security, Safety, Health and Environmental issues,• Maintaining safety education and awareness levels that support effective Security and Emergency management.• Coordinating Emergency, Security and Safety training for site personnel.• Reporting to the client and senior management on HSE, Security and Emergency performance at daily meetings and weekly report writing• Providing advice and support to the Safety Officer for the implementation of the Safety, Health and Environment Management Plan,• Monitoring compliance to specified procedures, safe work standards and statutory requirements.• Completing all documentation requirements including writing daily Pre-Start meetings and weekly Toolbox meetings

As the Security and Emergency Supervisor working at a small mining operation in southeast WA, I am responsible for all aspects of personnel, asset and infrastructure protection in charge of a small team of officers. The site itself is a dynamic and complex environment, requiring mental agility and robust experience to successfully identify and mitigate risks, as well as coordinating response to incidents.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Provide Supervision for the Security and Emergency services team.• Coordinate and manage the Security and Emergency Management plan including redevelopment of existing policies.• Develop and coordinate Security protocols pertaining to site safety regulations.• Conducting appropriate site induction training for all site personnel.• Coordinating Security and Safety training for site personnel.• Reporting HSE, Security and Emergency performance at daily meetings and weekly report writing• Monitoring compliance to specified Security and Safety procedures.• Coordinate training of Security equipment including access control systems, security communications, data reporting systems and CCTV.
