As the Owner's Representative and Project Manager at ExxonMobil for a confidential Project, a £1.2 billion initiative at the petrochemical site near Southampton, England, I collaborate seamlessly with Fluor's EPC teams to lead the construction efforts of an advanced refining and hydrogen production facility.Additionally, I lead critical modifications to enhance the existing facilities at the Fawley site managing a team of 12 professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and project execution.Key responsibilities and achievements included:- Direct the mechanical and plumbing components of the Project, ensuring alignment with ExxonMobil’s rigorous standards and specifications.- Manage a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration to meet project milestones on time and within budget.- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and addressing project requirements.- Implement quality control processes, leading to enhanced project quality and safety compliance.- Identified potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise any further impacts on project timelines and budgets.- Oversee project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost effective execution while achieving all deliverables.Successfully drove the project with a substantial impact, providing ExxonMobil with a material earnings improvement of $200 million annually.
