I love to learn, and I love to share that learning with others - with a strong focus on restorative culture and the use of adverse events as a platform for improvement rather than punishment.I like to challenge and be challenged, I enjoy a healthy debate, and I will happily research the evidence to support my position or better understand that of others. I believe everybody has the capacity to develop given the right motivation and support, and I endeavour to be that support.Throughout my career I have developed my skills in the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical; education; research and development; and leadership and management. I currently lead a small team with a vast portfolio, and I’ve become known as a supportive manager who can get the best out of my team through compassionate leadership.Beyond my professional endeavours, my focus is on my family - my wife keeps me grounded, whilst my son and daughter keep me on my toes - in the best possible way!
