I am passionate about doing things right the first time and not leaving a mess behind for others to clean up. As a leader, I achieve success by building relationships with my teammates, learning about their strengths and weaknesses, soliciting feedback from other experts in my field, and gaining a thorough understanding of a problem before jumping to conclusions about how to solve it. I like to put a plan together that focuses on what is presently known, adjusting it incrementally as time goes on, and continually focusing the team's activities towards the completion of the goal.In my career, I have worn several “hats”, most of the time simultaneously: Technical Team Leader, Scrum Master, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, Developer (Reports, Databases, Web Apps, Mobile Apps, Web Services), and Application Architect. My background both as an Eagle Scout and a US Marine have served me well in terms of building my character as a man and preparing me to be a leader in business. I have learned many intangible qualities from those earlier experiences in life. Boy Scouts are trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. Leaders of Marines exhibit justice, judgment, dependability, initiative, decisiveness, tact, integrity, enthusiasm, bearing, unselfishness, courage, knowledge, loyalty, and endurance.
