Flight Coordinator
CurrentLSG Sky Chefs, a company that processes meals for the airlines, granted me an opportunity to work over the summer as an intern. They are the biggest company in their field and continue to succeed exponentially. My position here is a Flight Coordinator. I started in the summer lacking in knowledge for process improvement but over the months I was able to understand specifically what it was and how important my position was. My job was to make sure all the carts were organized sorted by the same flights so that it would make it easier for drivers to find when they came to pick it up. Disorganized room could lead to a delay in the driver's finding the carts by flights on time. Delaying a flight would cost us $1k to $10k dollars. My project was to organize the whole room and saving them finances. The LSG family observed how I grew and overcame hardships dealing with other employees. It made me step out my comfort zone allowing me to manage people.
