I took on a short-term contract as an opportunity to explore working in the Third Sector. I was part of an Award-Winning Fundraising & Development Team, working directly with a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and responsible for delivery of events and campaigns to help the team achieve ambitious financial targets.

• Account Management – working with a portfolio of clients of all types, sizes and sectors to engage the best speakers, presenters and performers for their live events. • Sales – sourcing talent and brokering financial deals for approximately 200 events each year. Achieved a 20-25% profit margin increase annually, generating a £375,000 profit margin in my final year. • Executive Producer of JLA’s Real Variety Show – managing a team of eight internal staff and over a dozen external contractors, I produced JLA’s annual flagship talent showcase, attended by 900 clients. Responsibilities included talent research, selecting the bill and briefing all talent, signing off on all staging and design, overseeing invitations and approving the final guest list, plus managing the budget throughout. • Content Creation – produced talent biographies, blogs and external articles written to both inform and boost website ranking, plus content for social channels.• Contract Negotiation – agreeing the best possible fee for the client whilst maintaining my margin.• Business Development – attended events and meetings to win business from prospective clients and to improve existing client relationships.• Relationship Management – working with clients at all levels (up to CEO) and on the talent side working with high achievers, including Olympians, business leaders and former heads of state. Chaired briefing meetings between all parties.• Management and Mentorship of junior staff – as a Senior Account Manager on a team of six, I trained new assistants, managed their workload on a daily basis and helped them progress to Account Management roles. • Event Management – offering guidance on how best for clients to run their event, providing onsite support, plus I managed and worked alongside an assistant to provide logistical and administrative support.• Chair of intra office Working Group – a wide remit allowed staff at all levels to give input on the future direction of the company.
