I love technology. I Love analysing a problem, and using technology to solve it. Even better, I love to bring a team together to see how to design and build a scalable solution, or business process improvement, for a problem that perhaps others couldn’t even see.Perhaps my passion could also be my weakness. I believe there is a solution to every problem, and with the right guidance, people and vision anything can be achieved.I am currently Senior Manager, IT Technical Services. In this role, I lead a team of; • SAP Technical Services (ABAP Developers / SAP Web Dynpro, SAP PO/PI Developers, BASIS Analysts and SAP User Management) • Microsoft Collaboration (MS Tools including O365) • Enterprise Architects (Azure / Other Data Centre Services)Previous roles have led me down various paths, such as Management Accounting, Programming (VB, Oracle, BizTalk, CSIDE (Navision Programming Interface) and Functional/Business Process Management. I have also been successful in leading System Architecture projects in EDI/B2B including the integration of new logistics partners, customers and suppliers. In addition, I had led many Enterprise Software implementations, upgrades and migrations.I have also given talks at SAP and Gartner events, and also taken the "lead role" in videos for the likes of GS1 and others.With every experience I have had to date, I have learnt the following about myself; • I can be creative / visionary to find a solution, where others might see only a problem. • I like a challenge, and thrive in situations that require me to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of others. • I can build great teams, and inspire confidence in others to raise a person's performance to a higher standard. • I drive to be better at what I can do, but measure my success in how I can make others grow.I also enjoy meeting new people in new places, and have worked for long periods of time across Europe and North America, dealing daily with all the ambiguity and cultural differences this brings.
