About Danny M. Leung

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). I specialise in process-based modeling with the Community Earth System Model (CESM), and statistical/empirical modeling of the earth and climate systems. I have a PhD degree focusing on aerosol modeling, dust cycle dynamics, atmospheric chemistry, and land-atmosphere interactions at the University of California–Los Angeles (UCLA). I have a demonstrated history of teaching as a TA at multiple universities and received exemplary teaching awards from schools both in the U.S. and Asia. I am also skilled in piano (classical and contemporary music) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and keen on learning languages and cooking.
