In my current job role I am a Customer Care Advisor for ASOS. My job requires that I respond to customer’s queries in a quick and efficient time frame ensuring that I aim for a first time resolution to provide as little an inconvenience to the customer as possible. My job requires that I respond to customer’s queries in a quick and efficient time frame ensuring that I aim for a first time resolution to provide as little an inconvenience to the customer as possible. The contact’s I deal with are via both Email and Social Media however my personal role deals primarily with the Social Media contacts, for this I have to follow a tone of voice put in place to give the customer the most useful and friendly reply, this can be on a number of different platforms a few examples are: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. I am required to follow a variety of rules from Data Protection to company processes, to ensure all our customer’s details are kept as safe as possible whilst maintaining a high level of work. I have timeframes in which I’m required to follow thus ensuring customers are receiving a reply within the promised period. I also have personal targets to hit or exceed, these are constantly reviewed to match my ability and what is expected of me at any given time.During my time at ASOS I have become an experienced member of staff and often been asked to take the lead for Social Media during my shift’s at night, this has required me to ensure we are meeting our response timeframes and have the correct manpower to maintain levels, if I found that we did not meet these requirements then I had to report to my Team Leader so we could arrange for extra staff to help out and provide the support needed.I have also helped to train other members of staff on our Social platform’s and tone during my time here.
