In my current role as Employer Engagement Manager at Kidderminster College, I lead a team of two Employer Engagement Officers, one Apprentice Engagement Officer and one Business Administration Apprentice at the forefront of the college's employer engagement activities. Primarily, my role is to plan, implement and monitor methods of increasing employer engagement between Kidderminster College and a wide variety of stakeholders in the local community. I work closely with the Business Centre Manager to develop, implement and monitor our employerengagement activities in line with the key needs of the local community in Worcestershire.College students across all curriculum areas. I work with a range of public, private and voluntary sectors to increase curriculum links with employers and our students across the apprenticeship, work experience, Skills Bootcamps and full-time curriculum programmes.To raise awareness amongst students of the career opportunities available to them, I work in tandem with a variety of stakeholders to plan, implement and deliver careers fairs, CV workshops, student visits, guest speakers, sponsorship opportunities, training sessions for Careers Leads, B2B networking events and social media campaigns. This has involved the creation of promotional material, scheduling of diaries, logistical planning, display stand creation and staffing the display stand throughout the event. I work closely with the Apprentice Engagement Officer in my team to deliver career skills workshops, mock interviews, assemblies and lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in local schools.Promotion of Kidderminster College's apprenticeship offer is a core part of my current role as Employer Engagement Manager. I regularly attend networking events, thinktanks, employer meetings, conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions and other ways to facilitate direct conversation with employers to assist in their recruitment solutions and work towards achieving my own KPI's.

My role as an Enterprise Adviser involves me working with a local school in Kidderminster to help provide useful, collaborative links for pupils with businesses in the local community.Using my current network of Kidderminster and Worcestershire businesses, I enable pupils to gain access to guest speakers, careers activities, mock interviews, CV workshops and other ways to broaden their horizons and prepare them for the world of work.For businesses, I help them to assist local schoolchildren in their next steps, provide valuable career advice, give back to their local communities and add social value to their business.

I performed numerous duties in providing an outstanding learning experience for students aged 14-19.I was responsible for the curriculum planning, design, delivery and assessment for select units on our Level 3 Vocational Business course. As well as the traditional in-class delivery, I also provided online education to students where appropriate and when necessary. This included delivering blended learning, design and delivery of recorded learning materials, online learning programmes and online assessment methods.I have used my creativity and interest in technology to react quickly to changes in education delivery with the student experience consistently at the forefront of my curriculum delivery. I have enjoyed developing my online teaching skills extensively and with the use of Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OBS Project, iMovie, and Audacity, I have been able to deliver learning to students in a remote setting to enable them to still achieve to the best of their ability in very challenging circumstances.I mentored and coached numerous trainee Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers, for which helping early career Teachers to begin their journey into education was extremely rewarding.A keen networker, I created numerous educational links and events to benefit learners and the organisations that worked with my students and I. Previous projects include the NFL, Birmingham Children's Hospital, Transport for West Midlands, Cushman & Wakefield, BAM Construction, Brockswood Animal Sanctuary, Hotel Du Vin and more.I held the roles of Level 3 Coordinator, Lead Internal Verifier and Course Leader in which I led and inspired groups of Teachers to reach a common goal.I was a member of the college's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the Information Management Technology committee, leading on new initiatives in these areas within my department.
