In Nike's Innovation Kitchen, I gained expertise in performance footwear design and development by learning from the industry’s most experienced, talented teams. In my role as Innovator Lead on Global Football (soccer) projects, I partnered with advanced materials experts and our sports research lab to design, build, and test next-generation performance concepts and technologies that would enhance speed + improve ball control, accuracy, comfort and personalized fit.Previously, as part of Nike's Explore Studio, I was tasked with searching out and visually communicating new product + business opportunities for Nike. Projects were rooted in authentic consumer insights, were unlimited in terms of sport or product category (footwear, apparel, equipment, technology, retail, brand, beyond) and typically looked 3-5 years into the future. A deep area of focus was researching the future of customization (products and experiences.) In addition to generating concepts, I was responsible for managing external design and engineering teams, briefing them and directing their efforts.

As a designer at Astro, my role was to quickly generate wide ranges of breakthrough concepts that blended lifestyle, technology, and design. Deliverables included user profile descriptions, concept sketches / renderings, 3D models / prototypes, usage scenario storyboards. We were known for creating youthful, energetic solutions for a diverse range of clients and brands - including HP, Herman Miller, Xbox, Procter + Gamble, Atari, Dell, G-shock, Nike.
