Product Support Specialist Tier Ii / Install Support Specialist Tier Ii
For the past 7 years I have had a great opportunity to work for Sony in their support and service department, also known now as ACS (Advance Customer Solutions). My job responsibilities were to assist customers with their hardware or software problems that previous support tiers could not. To create knowledge base articles on products to be publish on our internal and external site. Along with those day to day tasks, I was also given the opportunity to be a part of a critical team to help home installers with installation of our higher tier products and to work with high profile customers. With the evolution of the business, I have been able to meet and exceed the standard placed before me to provide excellent customer service. I have also shown a high level of adaptability in supporting all Sony Consumer and Vaio products. I provided solutions and aided other specialist in finding solutions to customer problems while keeping my metric high. I have had the opportunity to learn from Sustaining Engineers, developers, and business planner to narrow down cost and to be more efficient in the work place. With their support, we were able to narrow down possible customer issues and develop a support structure for upcoming product releases. As I leave Sony, I am happy to know that my efforts on building product ambassadors, collaborating on the next customer purchasing experience, and the standards for customer support will be carried on. My separation from the company comes at a bad time for the business. Due to the downward turn of the business, cuts had to be made to guarantee the business’ survival, and unfortunately my department was dissolved and outsourced. I’m currently looking to start my next chapter with a company that share the same passion about their products and customers.

Operations Manager
As an OP Manager with Decurion Corp, I learned to provide support to multiple locations while managing out of a home location. I learned and executed annually and quarterly budget plans. By scheduling shifts for staff and coordinating movie's start and stop times, I was given the skill of time management which is the key driver for the business and my professional life. I taught floor staff of the importance of KRIs and taught them about the goals of the business. I helped in the development of the business and those that were a part of the business by enacting on the core values that where developed. "talent (workers) are ends as well as means in themselves." We teach them about the business and they help to run and make it successful. We did these through another core value, "learn, teach, lead, and follow" It is the expectation that everyone, regardless of position, learn the business, teach the business, help lead those that need assistance, and not be scared to follow to make the business successful.
