After more than 10 years working in real estate, planning, and public affairs, I have formed an independent community and government affairs consulting firm, Juniper Strategic Advisory. As the President and CEO, I am focused on bringing stakeholders together and identifying the nexus between the goals of the private sector, the needs of the community, and the path through local government to achieve project success. I bring a high level of attention, diligence, and dedication to my work, and the small size of my firm allows me to be exceedingly focused on my client’s needs and their individual paths to success. I prioritize integrity and reliability in everything I do and have built a reputation amongst my colleagues and peers in the public and private sectors for my ability to bring groups together in the interest of expanding the pie. I currently serve on the Downtown Parking Management Group and sit on the Board of Directors for San Diego Young Leaders. I am an active, Full Member of the Urban Land Institute and am a 2018 inductee to Lambda Alpha International – San Diego Chapter. Prior to forming Juniper Strategic Advisory, I was the Senior Vice President of Economic Development & Public Policy at the Downtown San Diego Partnership. In this position, it was critical that I develop relationships with local government and build strategic partnerships with companies to foster economic progress Downtown. I led the Partnership’s efforts to support and realize Downtown’s large civic projects, supported the development community by navigating the entitlement and regulatory processes, and developed policy positions for the organization. Prior to joining the Partnership, I worked as a project manager at Civic San Diego where I developed a superior understanding of the Downtown Community Plan, Planned District Ordinances, and the project entitlement process.
