T-Mobile has a Solutions Engineering and Management (SEM) group, which supports T-Mobile's customized mobile data solutions. The group uses a comprehensive project management methodology in conjunction with exacting internal standards and standard industry procedures to efficiently implement solutions. The Solutions Engineer (SE) will assist customers in designing wireless data requirements and developing a T-Mobile solution to meet those requirements. The SE coordinates with internal T-Mobile departments to help ensure successful implementation of customer solutions. As a Solutions Engineer, I provide engineering support to sales in Small/Medium Business and Public Sector/Federal accounts. While directly interfacing with customers, I identify solution criteria and perform design work with the purpose of driving customer solution sales. Other job functions include:Facilitates opportunity planning sessions with sales and solutions developed for customers. Participates in customer meetings to uncover opportunities and recommend solutions.
