My journey has taken me from Auckland to the US, on to the UK and after a decade in London I've made Sydney home.However this geographic journey is incomparable to my personal and professional journey. I've learned so much about the value of working with a truly diverse set of people - journalists, travellers, educators and story-tellers from right across the globe. It's through these people and these experiences that I've developed an appreciation of how to achieve goals through hard work and genuine engagement with people. And for me that engagement revealed a passion for business, a love of lifelong learning, and a desire to help people become better communicators, more confident performers and more empathetic leaders.I now bring these insights to bear in education, where I love the challenge of building, developing and enabling high-performing teams and individuals. Yes, the hard skills are important - managing people is tough - but the pay-off can be hugely satisfying. Satisfying to see people grow and satisfying to see teams and organisations achieve their goals in a sustainable and ethical way.
