Greater Birmingham Area

Oversee full planning, scheduling, customer service, compliance, quality assurance and construction oversight responsibility for multiple construction sites. Manage commercial and industrial construction projects including fabricating, loading, shipping of structural steel for overseas projects. •Ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time and within or under budget; approve and justify necessary modifications to initial schedule and budget agreements. •Convey project manager specifications and scope of work to clients, subcontractors and field personnel; assist in the design, build and erection sequence on complex structures. •Actively participate with project manager throughout the approval process for RFIs, change orders and construction drawings/blueprints; compose and submit daily reports and other documentation as required in company Quality Control (Q/C)/Quality Assurance (Q/A) plan; maintain compliance with all project plans, client specifications and industry standards. •Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs, set performance goals, deadlines and plan construction processes. •Promote safety in workplace environment in accordance with all relevant OSHA regulations. •Interact effectively with customers, architects, engineers and subcontractors, addressing questions and potential issues proactively; ensure maximum levels of customer satisfaction, translating new business into long-term professional relationships through repeat contracting and referral generation. • Serve as liaison between general contractors, architects, suppliers, vendors, building inspectors and municipalities. •Allocate and monitor work flow based on individual contractor skill sets; evaluate contractor performance and develop corrective action plans for optimization as needed.

South East

Planned, directed and oversaw all areas of production scheduling, manufacturing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, vendor relations, pricing, customer service and maintenance activities, as well as regulatory compliance and quality control. • Regularly communicated with structural engineers, architects, steel inspectors and the owner to ensure proper structural installation. • Assisted with the development and review all Steel Fabrication and Erection estimates; expedited the fabrication and delivery of all materials. • Generated and reviewed all lift plans; identified potential safety hazards and led Division in safety standards. • Scheduled of work at fabrication plants; wrote all SSEP & SSSP for projects.
