As sales manager I was responsible for the day to day running of the sales team including recruitment, training, sales skills, coaching, monitoring and discipline. My role here was meeting and advising clients looking to gain training for a career in IT. We had a range of courses available including classroom and online study. Students would often gain access to the courses via CDL's and training would then guarantee a work placement so students would have work experience as well. The end goal was to help each student gain full time employment and a career in IT. 95% of students that completed the training and gained certification would achieve this. I also worked with a range of companies and IT professionals that were looking to increase their skill set.
