I sat on a UX design team where I consult with both internal design teams as well as our global engineering teams. My role is to help bridge the gap between design and development. Some of my responsibilities include:• Guide developers by building fidelity prototypes using the most suitable tools for the task, actively take part in concept development, and design iteration.• Work with the Engineering team to ensure that the code is faithfully implemented and that any future deliverables correct any usage issues expressed by engineering.• Sit on the advisory committee for the React Design System which includes reviewing pull requests from developers that contribute to the design system.• Provide accessibility support across multiple products that are often baked into the prototypes.• Attend Design review meetings to provide feedback regarding accessibility, technical feasibility, and functional approaches when it comes to cost and time.• Partner closely with UX researchers to test the functional prototypes that are delivered.• Helped cultivate a Tiger Team that includes people from various teams such as designers, researchers, design system developers, and design technologist in order to stay committed to providing next level tech transformation to all of the products we support within our ecosystem.• Contribute to the React Design system on a regular basis as a part of my role.
