I was at Cohesion for 18 months or so and I love how much I learned. working for Will and Amanda was brilliant!I was really lucky to have headed up the launch team for Care Character. For me this product exemplifies what Cohesion is all about. Although it is now a well respected and widely used engagement and assessment tool, it all started when Cohesion co sponsored a PHD into recruiting into care. At the time there wasn't any thought of creating Care Character we just believed the sector needed the PHD. That sort of love for social care is why I joined!Coming from 10 years boutique agencies I had to learn the Cohesion way of doing things. One of the main differences is they don't have 360 recruiters. Cohesion have what I believe to be a great ratio 4 sales people and 50+ delivery people! I have watched the team deliver 451 starters from a standing stop in 12 weeks which was incredible to witness. I am so proud of the links we have with industry groups and the case studies we have produced for the work we do. For me that has included a wide range of sales from Care Character, to single exclusive management roles to 100+placement RPO contracts. I am driven by a belief that whether its one role or 1000 that every social care client deserves to have the same level of service.

I have been involved in some wonderful private hospital campaigns last year and continue to specialise in SMT including HDs this year. I am also heading up a new venture in the UAE, Quatar and other countries in the Middle East.Our care home department which is our first and oldest department is adding value in a tough time for providers. There is a lot of quality out there but it is becoming harder to get your voice heard over the din.... everybody in healthcare has known social care is underfunded for years, decades in some cases. We are proud to continue to help companies that look after our most vulnerable and our precious elderly.I have had nearly 15 years sales experience before becoming a recruiter, this includes taking a team of myself and 2 advisory to a team of 24 F/T and 23 P/T in a little over a year. This was one of my best loved achievements and last year I added Sales to the Finance and Commercial offering we already have.

I joined Medbank and the first 3 months I grew the temp desk introducing new clients and candidates to the business with a focus on increasing qualified hours.I then set up a permanent desk and worked in partnership with some great clients. This was my first recruitment role and a great experience

Starting on the phone after 3 months I was promoted to team leader with 2 reps. We quickly but organically grew this to 22 part time and 22 full time reps. We grew relationships with both 3 and Orange, and did a lot of work on behalf of Handsets.com
