I joined the IUPAT painters union in 2014 after completing a 6 month pre-apprenticeship. After working on the commercial side for 3 years I switched over to industrial. I then completed a three year industrial apprenticeship and became a Journeyman in 2019. Since then I acquired the CIP1 and currently I’m preparing to take the CIP2. I plan on continuing my education and keep working in the corrosion control field as a career. I would like to take on more diverse and challenging work experiences and gain more industry knowledge.
