Responsible for Lean transformation within the East Aurora Aircraft Group manufacturing site. This role was a key site leadership team member and acted as coach and facilitator for the lean transformation at that level. Guided the maturity of a lean management system as well as the more tactical value stream transformations within the site.

Orchard Park, New York

Responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Repair departments. Currently implementing PPAP throughout the entire Supply Chain of ITT Enidine, a major addition to the QMS, with the goal of making a major step function improvement in terms of reduction of defects delivered. Leader of "Mini Kaizen" effort, which is used to identify waste and take immediate action to eliminate it. Driving efforts to eliminate final inspection steps and instead build quality checking methods into the assembly process to improve product quality, reduce scrap and build in quality at the source. Have led efforts and achieved a 250% reduction in 12 month rolling DPPM and a 25% overall scrap reduction. Led and executed a VBLSS Black Belt project resulting in over $130k in annual scrap reduction of major assembly line by reducing the DPPM from 25000 to 4000.

Responsible for all day-to-day operations of 130+ person manufacturing facility (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Continuous Improvement, engineering). Led major lean conversion of the manufacturing operation. The main focuses being culture change, organizational structure (Cells, Cell Leaders, Supervisors), problem solving, +QDIP management and continuous flow.Identified, lead and executed cost reduction projects totaling over $1M in cost savings annually. Projects include Kaizen events, product redesign, strategic sourcing, manufacturing system enhancements and capital implementations.Responsible for sourcing and developing new vendor relationships to meet cost reduction and inventory reduction goals. Site Lean/DBS champion for $40M manufacturing operation. Worked hand in hand with site executives to plan and executive strategic lean vision. Lead kaizen management process which included planning, facilitation and sustainability measures. Trained associates on lean manufacturing methodology. Fluid in kanban, standard work/flow, SMED, TPI, visual management, daily (shop floor) management and Value stream mapping.
