In 2005, I launched IDI with the sole purpose of helping others go farther, and faster, than they could on their own. I formed a partnership with a company that provided training tools and began facilitating workshops to develop skills with leadership, communication, and sales. Over my first three years I educated and improved the performance of hundreds of middle managers, executives, and sales professionals.During the recession of 2008 I focused my services almost strictly on business owners and senior executives in small to medium-sized companies. I established a coaching model that accelerated positive outcomes for my clients which is why many leaders continue to work with me for several years.The following year I devised a new strategy to expand my business internationally. That leap established an office in Tianjin, China where many companies were looking to expand. For the next six years I oversaw operations both here and abroad. There I learned even more about human behavior and found ways to apply my experiences to the coaching I performed in the United States. As the markets changed, I made the conscious decision in 2012 to bring all operations back to America and focus strictly on closely held and privately held businesses here.Since 2013, I helped countless companies of varied size improve performance. I developed a customized set of materials which we are applying to online learning specifically for small business owners. My experience helped me create a better coaching model for my one on one coaching business and I have implemented more services to help companies going through change. My passion for mentoring continues outside my professional work. For over ten years I have been actively involved with being a Defender of Potential for at-risk youth in Dane County. Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped place thousands of kids on the road to success. I have fulfilled the role of Board Chair in 2019. During my time on the board we have balanced the budget, and implemented growth strategies. I have assisted the CEO with critical hires. For three years I led Bowl for Kid’s Sake, one of our top fundraisers. Time is spread over several committees including Board Development where I take an active role. My family has also participated in the program being matched with a Little for over eight years getting him through to graduation in 2020. We continue to hang out to this day.

The UW-Platteville Alumni Association acts as the connector to those who attended the University. As board member I helped implement strategies to keep alumni engaged while on campus and beyond. I held various positions and fulfilled the role of Board President. During my time we increased regular memberships while growing lifetime dues. I was responsible for assisting the university with key hires in the association/foundation and facilitated strategic planning for different groups on campus.From 2016-2019 I moved my talents to the Foundation which manages the endowed funds. I was brought on during a time of transition and eventually took on the responsibilities of Secretary until my departure in 2019. During my participation in the foundation I worked with the Director to improve foundation programs.
