Director (Executive Board) HiFXOne of the 4 founding partners of the HiFX group established in 1998 to provide commercial foreign exchange risk management and brokerage solutions to corporate and private clients. From initial start-up in 1998, HiFX has grown to become a premier provider of FX services in the UK employing 300+ staff and featured in The Sunday Times Fast-Track 100 fastest growing companies (2003/04/05) and as a Top-100 employer (2005/06).As co-founder, Daniel took responsibility for developing the commercial foreign exchange brokerage division, developing the brokerage services from initial conception to current status as being recognised status as a market leader in its field.Daniel was jointly responsible with the 4 founding partners for taking the business from zero turnover to over £9 billion in foreign exchange transactions per annum by 2006 with 5000+ corporate clients using the dealing and advisory services. In addition, Daniel oversaw the trading activities of the dealing teams delivering private client services to over 35,000 customers per annum.Key achievements & Responsibilities:• Developed and defined corporate sales/dealing strategy (1998-2006);• Negotiated major trading lines for HiFX (Barclays Capital, Deutsche, RBS and SocGen);• Traded and advised major corporate clients, including Royal Mail, Candover and SunSeeker;• Jointly responsible with co-founders for implementation, set-up and roll-out of an international office network (Auckland, Malaga, San Francisco and Sydney);• Performed role as Director, Head of Global Trading and Risk;• Jointly developed and pioneered an oversees property insurance services division and set up a FSA registered business (HiFX Insurance Services Ltd);
