The Windows 10 project with Queensland Health is aiming to deploy Windows 10 1703 to 80,000 assets around the state. I was involved in the Application team that has prepared packages that are both deployed state-wide or have a more targeted focus at just 1 location due to built-in configuration.I have been a member of the Application team, and we have worked in partnership with the Office 365/2016 project to ensure that over 1000 unique applications will work correctly after Windows 10 has been deployed and will continue to be tested in the new ever-green environment that Windows 10 offers.My primary work consisted of the following: Working with different departments to perform Application Discovery Working with our database team to help deliver a solution a software management tool Packaging software using Admin Studio to be deployed via SCCM Remediation of software that failed UAT testing Assisting the UAT Co-Ordinator’s in ensuring their application statuses were up to date Reporting on the progress of the packaging to the project management team and steering committeeThe project is now at the stage that the Application packaging has been handed over to the deployment teams around the state.

I worked for TDL as a contractor through Robert Half Technologies. While starting as a contractor on a short-term contract to assist in a large-scale desktop refresh, I have progressed to be an integral member of the Desktop and Field team, and have been able to contribute to multiple successful project implementations, including RACQ's recently announced RACQ Bank.My BAU work consists of the following:- Managing work load through Service Now ticketing system- Building of PC's via SCCM, software deployment and setup for users- Asset Management through Service Now- Face-to-face client assistance for technology issues across multiple sites- Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting.As I've progressed in my role, I was asked to become the sole-onsite technician at RACQ's City offices. This role still sees me contribute to the standard BAU work, but I am the escalation point for IT Incidents occuring for the 250 staff across 6 levels of the building.While BAU work is rewarding, my most notable achievement working for RACQ came through the Programme Our New Bank. My first contribution was as Team Leader for a Windows 10 deployment team, with 3 contractors reporting to me. We were responsible for the full deployment life-cycle, from Pilot and SOE creation, to scheduling, deployment and then end-user support - both initially and ongoing.We successfully transitioned over 200 staff from Windows 7 and Citrix Wyse terminals to Windows 10, with new technology such as Microsoft Surfaces. The deployments were spread throughout Queensland, at all existing Queensland Teachers Mutual Bank branch locations.Following the successful rollout, I was tasked with providing expert IT advice for a branch new RACQ Concept Store. This fit-out revolutionised the way RACQ approached it's retail branch staff and empowered them by providing mobile solutions throughout. As the technology lead, I was responsible for the full Level 1 and 2 fit-out of technology in the store.
