September 2017 - August 2018Internal Communications Adviser/ Campaigns Advisor for Legal Services are GREAT, Ministry of Justice In the MoJ internal comms team, I led on a number of campaigns and policy areas, supporting departmental priorities such as our values and 'The Justice Story'. The values campaign has been nominated for an internal comms award and I received recognition for my role. I also lead on Permanent Secretary monthly comms. On the Legal Services are GREAT campaign, I have built relationships with a range of stakeholders, helped organise events; designed, created and produced collateral including brochures; and developed the strategic direction for future campaigns.March 2017 - August 2017Digital Marketing Manager (secondment) at CLARITY and The Soap Co.I primarily worked across digital marketing and social media but also in media relations and crisis comms. I made a number of announcements including the launch of PrEP and a targetted regional mental health announcement. I also attended visits with the Public Health Minister and the Secretary of State.March 2016 - August 2016Communications officer and strategic planner at DCMSI represented the department at the No. 10 grid planning meetings to secure grid slots for important announcements by the department. In strategic and stakeholder comms, I launched a microsite for First World War commemorations, lead on the Tourism Action Plan and produced regular newsletters for the tourism sector.September 2015 - February 2016 Internal Comms Officer at Crown Commercial ServicesI launched the new intranet and completed campaigns around the People Survey and developing values for the organisation.

As part of my Civil Service Fast Stream, I was on secondment at Clarity and The Soap Co - companies that produce soap and other products to create employment for blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged people. I primarily worked across digital marketing and social media but also in media relations and crisis comms. I built the joint company LinkedIn page and significantly grew the number of followers, created a number of digital assets and worked on the website in addition to Twitter and Facebook.I also developed a planning schedule to allow improved proactive communications which has been continued since I finished my placement.
