AHEIA provides advice, assistance and representation to its members on workplace relations matters, including appearing for members in proceedings before the Fair Work Commission, on either an individual or collective basis, and in internal disciplinary proceedings.AHEIA provides a range of learning and development services, including a suite of workplace relations training programs, leadership development programs and wellbeing programs specifically designed for university staff. AHEIA is heavily involved in assisting members with their enterprise bargaining, including thorough facilitating the sharing of information between members on bargaining developments in the sector as they unfold.We make formal submissions on behalf of our members to Government and Parliamentary inquiries on workplace relations matters, and provide public commentary on workplace relations matters affecting our members.
