Hey there! My name is Daniel Reza (he/his). As a first-generation, Latino, cis-gendered male, I am dedicated to guiding my clients through their journey of self-discovery and transformation because I understand how it is like to feel truly stuck while intuitively knowing that the way forward is to change unhelpful patterns and improve the situation. Regardless of who you are and how you view yourself, I believe everyone deserves the humanity and compassion of their community to be helped skillfully whenever they find it necessary to receive mental health support.Currently pursuing LPCC licensure as an APCC, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy from the EMDR Institute. My diverse experience includes supporting individuals with substance use and eating disorders in residential settings and providing therapy for clients of all ages at a community outpatient clinic. Fluent in Spanish, I have had the privilege of assisting many Spanish-speaking clients in finding a comfortable and supportive space for healing.I specialize in addressing eating disorders, trauma & PTSD, and addiction & substance abuse. Upon licensure, I plan to pursue a doctoral program in Counseling Education to mentor and supervise future therapists. The well-being and growth of my clients are my top priorities. I look forward to working with each of my clients to resolve challenges and achieve a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
