I worked as an associate therapist at an outpatient community mental health clinic that treats general mental health difficulties for people of all ages. The population I served are youth and adults who use Medi-Cal for their health insurance. I maintained a caseload of a maximum of 14 clients. I had one session per client per week, and some of these sessions are family sessions. I completed all of my documentation in our Exym EHR system. I also provided support for Alameda County's General Assistance Program by completing mental health assessments for some of their applicants.

I worked as an associate therapist at a residential treatment center that primarily treats eating disorders. The population I served were cisgender female and nonbinary adults. I collaborated with a treatment team that includes the director, registered dietitian, nurse administrator, psychiatrist, medical doctor, and another onsite therapist. I maintained a caseload of three patients in a milieu of six patients. Therefore, I was finely able to attune to my patients’ needs as they underwent nutritional rehabilitation or stabilization. I had three sessions per patient per week, and one of these sessions is a family, couples, or support session with a patient’s friend. I provided check-ins with my patients outside of sessions to provide further support. I ran two out of the four process groups provided per week. I completed all of my documentation in our KIPU EMR system.

In accordance to the juvenile court's guidelines, I provided mentoring to TAY youth to develop their life skills during the introductory portion of their probation. I created a pamphlet that served the purpose of informing parents from local Native and Indigenous populations on the detention center's practices. I also facilitated group activities with the youth in detention. I was often around the youth in the GED program, and I assisted in tutoring them in all school subjects.
