While being an IT Support Specialist, I experienced countless times when programs and webpages failed to do what were specifically built to do. I started to ask myself, could I make it better, could I start by making scripts for my team? Having a degree in Computer Science, I took it upon myself to write scripts in PowerShell that then streamlined many of the teams repetitive tasks which allowed us to keep our heads above water. After experiencing Covid and the season of working from home, I renewed my love of solving problems through writing elegant code and building websites for those who need and have passion for their brand/service.I am a Software Engineer who specializes in Front-End Development and who is passionate about solving everyday problems. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University. After college, I found that I have an affinity of working with clients and enjoyed building a relationship with them while working to solve any problems they encountered. That's why I love being a Front-End Developer, it's not just code… it's taking your client's ideas, making them into mock-ups and then bringing them to life with HTML, CSS and JavaScript all while working with the customer.Let my skill with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Git (among others) assist you in your next project.
