The brochure was to include a map of Edinburgh as well as a smaller map of Leith (area within Edinburgh) in an illustrated style, incorporating various points of interest and drawn monuments, and containing important information for the users.I communicated with Wee Ecosse consistently throughout the project, informing them of any relevant developments, and ensuring that both their desires for the project and my artistic direction alligned perfectly. Upon completion of the project, the brochure was sent to print for 1,000 copies, and are being used in their tours for their guests.Both of the owners at Wee Ecosse were exceptionally happy with all of my work and then approached me with a similar brief for a further commission. Having incredibly positive relationships with management allowed me to work quicker and more directly on issues that arose, and my positive and meticulous approach to each task helped me to be entrusted by my team and management with many other responsibilities.Within my last 6 months of working at First Vehicle Leasing I was tasked with hiring an employee to work with me to assist with pricing analytics and various ongoing administrative tasks. After hiring, I led them through each process they would be responsible for, created training documentation for them to refer to, and then shadowed them to ensure they had the best chance to succeed. I was incredibly impressed with their development and skill in such a short time.General daily tasks involved price comparison and calculation of any ongoing and upcoming deals, spreadsheet management, regular internal communication with the sales team and company, price loading and communication with funders, dealerships and suppliers. My advice was requested regularly when our website was being updated and modernised, with my proposed changes having an exceptionally positive impact on the company's SEO. I was also often responsible for capturing promotional media of vehicles, taking headshots of the sales team, design mock-ups for corporate branding/promotional advertisements and the creation of flyers to circulate internally and publicly. These were to include the films: 'My Neighbour Totoro,' 'Spirited Away,' and 'Princess Mononoke.'Having honed my approach from the first commission, I was able to begin work immediately.
