Dan demonstrated a strong command of the material with the course, developed magnificent report with students, and delivered excellent instruction when asked to do so. In light of all of these excellent attributes, I asked that Dan be promoted to full instructor status for the next cohort. Over the subsequent time working with Dan, he continually demonstrated a strong desire to not just command the material, but improve his ability to convey this challenging subject to a wide audience. Dan was never satisfied with the status quo, and continually iterated on both his personal instructional material, and the problem sets the students worked on. He also continued to execute on interesting side projects that showed creativity and curiosity. I give Dan my highest recommendation, and am confident he will be a great asset wherever he goes."
