An Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHS) leader with over 38 years of multi-site domestic and international experience. Expertise and enjoyment involves working with individuals to strengthen their EHS skills and knowledge, providing mentoring to assist them to meet EPA and OSHA expectations. The environmental tool box includes experience with fluid management, chemistry, chrome plating (specialty), cooling towers, washers, waste reduction and many other environmental aspects, showing companies ways to save and increase quality. Worked in the field for companies obtaining Air Quality Construction and Operating Permits, Wastewater NPDES and Pre-treatment Permits, water sampling events, DMR reporting, Stormwater Inspections, and more. Set up programs to track information required by permits, such as VOC and HAPs, natural gas and permit required characteristics. Complete many air emission inventories, discharge monitoring reports, FORM R, Tier II, and more. Safety expertise in the creation of handbooks, procedures and training materials to meet requirements as well as incident investigations, risk assessments, inspections/audits while going above and beyond in many areas. Track and maintain OSHA logs, 300, 301, 300A, as well as rates and hours. Have a broad understanding of local, state and federal environmental EPA & OSHA regulations. Set up many EPA and OSHA programs for companies, procedures and record keeping strategies for compliance. Proud to serve on the Voluntary Protection Program's Board of Directors for Region VII VPPPA, earning OSHA VPP Star Status Certification in 1992 within Region VII. Served as Secretary/Historian, Vice-Chairperson for years and am still very involved. Have many OSHA and EPA contacts to enhance my abilities to meet regulatory requirements. I have worked in this area for over 38 years and ready to help others that have the same OSHA and EPA responsibilities.
