I have been in the machining business for over 40 years. Most of this time was spent working in the Reaserch Division of IBM. For ten years I managed a service group that was made up of Mechanical and Electronic Engineers, Designers, and a Model shop. I currently work at Hitachi GST in a small Research Model shop. My biggest asset is that I can work with Research scientests and ask the right questions to find a solution to their machanical needs. I have had the opportunity to invent numerous devices in the process of finding those solutions.Specialties: Some specialties are that I design using SolidWorks. I have extensive Sinker and Wire EDM experience, as well as other CNC machines. I also set up a DB2 (Database) server and created the front end to track jobs, keep track of cost and time, and charge customers for work.
