Hey, I’m Dan, the Managing Partner at VisualFizz. I am immensely passionate about the growth of my business, alongside the many businesses that our agency focuses on. I lead the growth and development of VisualFizz, as well as client relationships, project management, digital strategy, business development, and more.My background in entrepreneurship began during my junior year of college. I forewent my scholarships and became a part-time student in order to devote my time and energy toward starting my first business. This venture was an innovative community-based crowdfunding platform. My goal: Putting community dollars into the hands of founders, non-profits, communities, and others trying to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, we decided to close that business 2 years later.So, about me: At this point in my career, I have been able to enjoy working with quite a few unique projects. I have worked full-time and contracted with over a dozen marketing agencies before deciding to launch VisualFizz. Why did I launch VisualFizz? Well, I thought I can build a better, more efficient, and more effective agency. I wanted to solely focus on 3 things: Quality, Relationships, and Process.Favorite accomplishments? There are too many to count, but a few that stick with me are:1) Working on a project that was closely associated with former President Obama, former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, Yoko Ono, and the emperor of Japan. (Not a VisualFizz project)2) Working on rebrands for Chicago neighborhoods Wrigleyville/Lakeview East 3) Helping scale our client from $150M to $300M+ in just a couple of years.4) Working with causes that make a huge difference in the world.5) (A bit different) Seeing 20+ faces on the VisualFizz all-hands calls, knowing that this is the team that we've spent years building and growing.6) Working on service alongside some of the world's most influential companies and developing strategies that impact global markets.My personal passions include travel (with a personal goal to travel at least 100 days per year), cooking/eating great food, cocktails/mixology, meeting new people, and enjoying life. Though entrepreneurship and running a successful business is one of my primary goals, it’s incredibly important for me to enjoy a work-life balance and to continue to explore everything that I can.Want to learn more about me?
