My role was to provide editorial support across all their assets. Achievements: •Providing high-quality copy and content across all sites to engage users, promote the brands and increase Search Engine Optimisation.•Managing a campaign to increase user-generated content on the sites and regularly exceeding weekly content targets as a consequence. •Promoting the sites through social media.•Writing copy for adverts for publication in the Daily Mail and Metro newspapers.•Producing a number of videos for publication on site, leading to increased site visits and registrations. •Making promotional visits to communities around the UK, leading to increased site visits and registrations in those areas. •Providing statistical analysis to monitor the effect of content publication on audience response.

The UK’s first creative careers festival, organised by the University of the Arts, London. Working with Web Editor and solely responsible for all new content on website. Achievements: • Interviewing and writing features on the editor of Vogue.com Dolly Jones and Guardian feature writer Simon Hattenstone.• Delivering news pieces and newsletter content to strict deadlines, generating interest in the festival and contributing to increased ticket sales.• Writing copy for the printed festival pocket guide. • Raising awareness of the festival through the use of social media.• Editing and laying out content on Futurising’s website, which was lauded as an example of innovative web design.

Achievements: • Playing a critical role in the production of a high-quality fortnightly newspaper. • Sourcing, researching and writing news stories through proactive networking with prominent student figures as well as close attention to events and trends in student life. • Sub-editing content and laying out pages using QuarkXpress, helping to maintain London Student’s reputation for quality content.
