I am excited about public water supply and am grateful to be a part of an industry that is so important to public health and a critical infrastructure to support local communities and economies. I am a Professional Engineer and a licensed Water System Operator with a MBA and in my position seek to blend technical competence with business understanding for maintaining a public water utility. As a Plant Operations Engineer for Chester Water Authority I develop and manage the capital budget for the Octoraro Water Treatment Plant and oversee delivery of capital projects. I am responsible for compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations to ensure safety, security, and reliability of the Pine Grove Dam. I supervise employees that manage instrumentation and controls, the industrial control system network, the transmission main, the reservoir, and the watershed. I am a self-motivated learner and a problem solver and enjoy the variety and the challenge of working within the water industry.
