Dan is a veteran healthcare executive with over 25 years’ experience as an entrepreneur, builder, and operator of companies.  He earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and a Masters in Hospital Administration from University of Washington.  Following his education, Dan worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialized in interim management, financial turnarounds, and RCM improvement projects for large health systems and academic medical centers across the US.  After 10 years of consulting, Dan joined AAPC where he has served in a variety of roles including launching AAPC’s consulting division and associated software products (now Healthicity), creation of the certified professional practice management (CPPM) certification, and most recently overseeing AAPC’s international business expansion.  In addition to his role at AAPC, Dan also supports Eli Global’s Elevate Healthcare Portfolio providing various M&A, due diligence and executive management activities for several of its portfolio companies.
