Primary web developer\project manager on a project to redesign Deer Valley’s complete web presence. This project consisted of a complete redesign of the legacy web site into C# and ASP.NET MVC incorporating 6 different back end POS systems and numerous processes into one seamless and robust web application. Duties range from complete project management to coding web applications, web services, and custom APIs/integrations. Project Manager on the selection and implementation of a third-party Property Management System for 8 unique lodging properties. Deer Valley created a new property management division from scratch and I was specifically tasked to deliver a full implementation of the PMS to all properties in 6 months. This included the due diligence process, contract negotiation, on-site project management, and development of custom reporting and accounting integrations. Served as the primary developer\project manager on a project to create an in-house Central Reservations software system. This system featured a robust inventory management system, a quote/booking engine, as well as a richly developed accounting module. Primary duties included determining system requirements, managing the project life cycle, performing database design, coding of the project, and numerous accounting integrations.

Position specifically created for me based on a proven ability to identify inefficient areas in the accounting department and design IT solutions.Authored a new revenue system that processes all the revenue generated through Deer Valley's point of sale locations and integrates directly into Deer Valley's Great Plains accounting software. This revenue system provided an automated method to account for nearly all the revenue generated from Deer Valley. Served as the Project Manager on a doomed installation of a third party Central Reservations software package. Primary duties included: managing weekly project meetings between the developer and DV Central Reservations, installation and testing of the software, designing integrations to accounting, and ultimately managing the cancellation of the contract.Administered Deer Valley's entire credit card processing system. Provided system administration and support for the resort's stand-alone credit card terminals, various POS software applications that processed credit cards, as well as specific credit card processing software. In addition, managed the network and leased line connectivity to Deer Valley's credit card processor.Used personal initiative to take ownership over various IT areas that were causing problems for the resort (Aloha restaurant POS terminals, credit card processing system, etc).Created and managed various integrations between systems in the resort and Great Plains accounting software.
