CurrentOversee the Global Communications channel portfolio comprised of tools, digital platforms, and internal applications that build our global culture and allow 9,000 employees to engage and drive our business forward. Lead a distributed team of nine channel managers, translators, and support staff. Executive Communications - Facilitate internal communications and offer strategic counsel to the executive team on crucial projects, including confidential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and company restructuring. - Produce and present live video broadcasts for the executive team via Viva Engage (formerly Yammer), showcasing critical subjects, including financial results, pandemic strategies, and ongoing corporate events. Global Communication Channel Implementation & Oversight- Delivered SharePoint-based global intranet for GM Financial overseeing in-house development, including exe communication, focus groups, UX design, content management, and launch. - Implemented Viva Engage/Yammer globally, including governance oversight, community creation, and internal messaging, providing executives with a launch “roadshow” opportunity. - Edit and steer the legacy GM Financial print magazine, GMF 360, while globalizing content and developing a dynamic microsite for the magazine and complimentary articles. - Successfully migrated digital sign technology across offices in North and Latin America, ensuring messaging standards for promotions, hyper-local news, and emergency communications. Leadership & Operations- Achieved substantial cost savings by internalizing the translations team for languages such as Spanish, French, and Portuguese, resulting in a 2/3 reduction in external expenditures. - Identified and hired a Viva Engage/Yammer manager to expand use cases and nurture the online culture. - Supervise vendor relationships and contracts for internal email platforms, spearheading upgrades for Poppulo and overseeing seamless functionality of PoliteMail.
