Worked on technical aspects of developing an annotated corpus of semantic modality, including data management, applications to facilitate annotation, and evaluation of annotator and guideline performance. Worked with Amazon Mechanical Turk to prototype possibility for a crowd-sourced linguistic corpus. Developed application for adjudication of doubly-annotated corpora, and managed data during corpus production.Teaching assistant for Generative Syntax I, two semesters of Introduction to Language, and Computational Corpus Linguistics. Responsible for evaluating student work, leading recitation sections (when applicable), and delivering guest lectures. Co-instructor during Spring 2015 for Introduction to Language with Mari Sakai. Responsible for introducing Georgetown undergraduates to the fundamentals of linguistics.Instructor during Spring 2016 for Language and Computers. Prepared course from scratch for conveying the capabilities and challenges of interfacing language and computers without requiring any programming. Prepared lectures, exercises, and examinations intended to challenge students' analytical, quantitative, and qualitative skills.
