Since late 2009 I have been providing band biographies solicited by labels, typically within a 48-hour turnaround period. These bios are initially released alongside promotional releases of new music to press outlets, subsequently added to band/label website, where most can be found. I have penned cover stories on Bring Me The Horizon and Black Veil Brides, as well as features on Crosses, City & Colour, Gallows, Defeater, The Amity Affliction, Parkway Drive and Mallory Knox amongst others. In addition I have contributed more than 40 Recommends pieces, 200+ reviews, album retrospectives, and online content.

With 6 issues published per year, over a period of 8 years I have contributed more than 120 features, including cover stories on Lamb Of God, The Bronx, Hatebreed, Every Time I Die, Murderdolls, Of Mice & Men, Periphery, Unearth and Suicide Silence. I have also contributed more than 600 reviews.

Kerrang! has been my home since late 2005, and in that time I have had over 1300 interviews and 700 reviews published. Early on I earned a reputation as a hard worker who gets things done quickly, and well. It has given me a lot of opportunity to indulge my love of music, exercise my sense of humour and engage more deeply with those I am assigned to interview. My easy demeanour, capacity for putting others at ease, and ability to make things fun have all been very useful over the years, and I have established a strong rapport with many of those I have interviewed.That I got to ask Ronnie James Dio if he had ever actually ridden a tiger [he hadn't] marked a personal highpoint.
