Archangel Imaging deploys smart machines alongside people to protect valuable remote assets and at-risk staff. Today’s machines are mostly tools, not team mates. Our technology is retrofitted to make machines smarter, more resilient team mates, independent from infrastructure. We then integrate best-in-class AI, satellite analytics, robots, drones and IoT into human workflows. These hybrid teams respond faster and more effectively to safety or security threats. Discover more: archangel.imI spent a lot of my career building weird aeroplanes (airplanes if you are American). We helped set a bunch of World records for solar electric flight under Archangel Aerospace and I co-founded Archangel Imaging (deployable smart machines) and Archangel Lightworks (laser communications), which span out alongside each other. Both companies leverage the Archangel experience in ultra-long endurance unmanned systems spanning almost two decades now. The whole Archangel family are busy deploying best-in-class technology against big, stubbornly persistent problems out in the World.I had a parallel military (reservist) career, with service in Afghanistan and have mentored UAV startups as well as GSP student teams at Singularity University. Not currently open to additional mentoring due to time committed but always happy to help people tackling significant problems.Outside of work projects I dive underwater and sometimes climb over rocks.
