During his tenure, Dan helped create 18 series and received two Daytime Emmy Awards and 7 additional Emmy nominations for his work. Litton Entertainment, a division of Hearst Television, is the preeminent independent producer and distributor of award-winning family programming. Litton produces and produces six outdoor, conservation, and adventure programs for ABC stations (“Litton’s Weekend Adventure”), six active lifestyle -- companion pet, cooking and sports -- programs for CBS (“the CBS Dream Team”), six active lifestyle series on NBC ("The More You Know"), six active lifestyle programs for the CW ("One Magnificent Morning") and six inspiring, pro-social programs for Telemundo ("Mi Telemundo"). Beyond network broadcast, Litton series are distributed on many D2 networks, internationally and on OTT platforms such as Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix.

Virilion was named one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Also served as CEO of Promotional Commerce, a Virilion company, which provides loyalty, incentive, e-commerce and rewards programs to some of the nation's largest institutions and best-known brands to generate buzz, increase staff performance, and bolster sales. Company was sold to RepEquity.
