At everydayhero, I oversee the technical strategy for the company, and manage a team of lead and senior engineers and QAs distributed across 5 global markets. As part of our parent corporation, Blackbaud, I am a member of the Product Architecture Council, helping to define our technical strategy to unify the 25+ products within our portfolio.Some recent highlights include designing our transition to autonomous cross-functional teams, and the microservice architecture they make possible. I was also proud to lead our successful transition to Amazon Web Services from a traditional Sydney data centre.

I joined everydayhero at a difficult time in the company's evolution. The engineering team had recently undergone rapid growth, and was rejecting technical management. The key to success in this role was demonstrating the technical skills and attitudes necessary to gain the senior team's trust. When it became clear this tactic was effective, I was promoted to the next role at everydayhero as Manager, Engineering.

Integrations level activity during the last phase of the London Dockland Light Railway (DLR) extension for the Olympics. Aggregated engineering design data across communications subsystems for final delivery and certification.

Integrations activities across the Jubilee and Northern Line Upgrade Project (JNUP) for London Underground, with a focus on audio and video subsystems. Provided a technical interface between the testing and engineering teams.
